GWN Top Tourism Town Awards Site Visit

Yesterday, Broome came together to welcome our 3 judges for the GWN Top Tourism Town Awards. The weather was almost as perfect as could be for an awesome afternoon which encompassed culture, heritage, nature and just a bit of adventure for our lucky visitors.

The Broome Visitor Centre would like to thank the community of Broome, firstly for being such a fantastic town, which meant we were one of six nominated finalists in the awards, and secondly, for putting on a show to remember!

It is now just a matter of playing the waiting game for the ceremony in mid October, when we will find out which town is really WA’s Top Tourism Town, and who will take out the following category awards;

  • Management & Staff Training Award
  • Community Relations Award
  • Environment Award
  • Special Events Award
