Broome - the town with no Christmas Trees. Or is it? Recently Broome found itself in a Christmas Tree drought - every tree in Broome had been bought from every shop. But this was not enough to dampen the Christmas Spirit in our small coastal town. Makeshift trees have begun to pop up all around town, including this one in the Mangroves, which appears every year at Christmas time;
The Broome Visitor Centre has also shied away from tradition, putting up our Christmas trees using no more than some twigs and fake snow - but how cool do they look?!
