Jandamarra

Jandamarra is a legend of the Bunuba people. He was only in his mid twenties when he was gunned down in 1897, but in his short life he created a legacy that will never be forgotten. He led one of the longest and most successful campaigns to defend Aboriginal country in Australian history.
In 2008, at the Perth International Arts Festival, Bunuba Films partnered the Black Swan State Theatre Company in co-producing the premiere, sellout season of the Jandamarra stage play, presented in Bunuba, English and Kriol.
In 2011 Bunuba Films are going to “bring Jandamarra home,” by presenting the play at four Kimberley venues in 2011, including a highlight show at the spectacular Windjana Gorge, in the heart of traditional Bunuba country.

Oprah Show

Wasn’t the Oprah show last night an amazing showcase of some of the sites of Australia? We know that if Oprah had come to the Kimberley, we would be able to show her beaches that would blow her mind, wildlife that would amaze her, gorges to dazzle her, and a true show of Aussie spirit. \

We are very proud to be part of the Great Land of Oz, and loved seeing our Eastern neighbours  on TV last night.

A Must Do This Summer!

A must do during summer is to see the amazing waterfalls and spectacular greenery of the Kimberley. Travel the region during your exclusive light plane, and visit areas that are currently inaccessible by road.

Marvel at the waterfalls cascading into gorges and inland rivers, experience the red pindan of the desert, the green of the tropical summer vegetation, the blue of the Indian Ocean and the pristine white sands of the Kimberley coastline all at once.

Be the envy of your friends once they see the places you have traveled, the sites you have seen and the areas you have experienced, once you have traveled the Kimberley by air!
